Enzo's 2nd ride on a horse.
Daycare was closed for the week of the Fourth of July! Enzo and I packed our bags to go visit one of my friend's Jen in Minnesota! We had a great time celebrating and eating during the day of the fourth and then off to see fireworks. Enzo wasn't scared at all and really enjoyed the show! We spent good quality time visiting Jen and her family. Our days went by slowly just hanging out on her property which is just so beautiful! Enzo rode a horse for the second time(first time was at Jen's too!). This time he rode with me walking along side him while Jen led Chili. He really loved that! What a BIG boy! We also spent some time at a nearby lake and drove to Wisconsin to see the countryside where we enjoyed a nice picnic. We celebrated Lani's Birthday while we were there too! So glad to have been there with her on her day! Lani even babysat Enzo with the help of a friend and the supervision of her dad, James! Jen and I were able to enjoy a night out without the kids!! Jen's brothers Nick and Josh loved hanging out with Enzo too! He was amazed by them riding around on their dirt bikes and just loved the attention of the big boys!! The kids also taught him to make this face we called evil baby!! He had fun making that face the entire trip! He was also given his first ever lawnmower ride courtesy of neighbor Jason. He wasn't so sure about that-a little scary! Leo the cat enjoyed his time with Enzo by snoozing in his crib! He kept a watchful eye over him at night! We spent a great afternoon at a local water park and Enzo went on his first water slide! He really enjoyed it and went down a second time with Jen. We had a few campfires while we were there too! Those were so nice to sit and enjoy the warmth of the fire and gaze at the stars. They were so bright up there! The kids all had a great time roasting marshmallows for s'mores and then running around chasing eachother by the light of the moon and stars! It was a wonderful trip with many memories to cherish. We were very sad to leave but know that we will go back soon!
