Happy Turkey Day!!!

HAPPY 3rd BIRTHDAY, ENZO!!!

For Enzo's 3rd Birthday we were lucky to have both of Enzo's Grandparents here and we had a chef come to the house to prepare us a lunch! (Francesco won the prize at work...lucky us!) It was so nice to have someone else working hard in the kitchen...we all just got to visit and of course Enzo got to open all his presents!! We had a wonderful meal, great wine and good family time!

Enzo's 3rd Birthday Party!!!

This year we had his party at a place called Pump It Up. It is a huge warehouse full of inflatables. It was so much fun for kids and adults!! We had almost 40 kids invited so it was a great place for them to run around and have a good time!! This year we decided to do somehing a little different...instead of all of his guests bringing him a gift we asked that they bring a toy for him to donate to Toys for Tots for Christmas. Can you imagine 40 new toys in the house?? I couldn't...and besides he has more than enough and there are lots of kids who don't. Everyone loved the idea and brought great toys to donate!! Thank you all who participated!! We had pizza for lunch and then we had Speed aka Lightning McQueen cupcakes...Enzo's was topped with Speed, Mater and a Piston Cup with 3 candles in the top!! It was a super fun party!! Turned out just as we had planned it!!

TRICK-or-TREAT!!

Enzo and I went to my friends Jen and Matt's home again this year! We had so much fun with her family again this year. Her 2 little ones and Enzo get along so well! They were all so excited to be together again this year!! We had dinner first then got dressed up and went trick-or-treating!! It was great weather and allowed for us to be out for a while. The kids got sooo much candy!! Jen has this great thing with her kids though and I decided to try it this year...after we got back to the house each of the kids got to pick out 5 pieces of candy and the rest was left out for the Halloween Fairy and she brings you a toy!! I asked Enzo ahead of time if he would like to do it and he answered YES with a lot of enthusiasm!! He woke up the next morning and asked me right away if he could go see if she came! Talk about an insurance policy for your child's teeth and no sugar highs for weeks on end. Now we'll see how long we can keep this going!!
