DISCOVERY KINGDOM!!!

Bigger than Enzo!!

We had a really great weekend!! Since before the summer began we had made plans to take Enzo to Six Flags Discovery Kingdom. Once again we told him we were going way ahead and every time he saw a commercial for it he would tell us that he was supposed to go there!! We were leaving early in the morning so Grandma spent the night before at our house so she was able to join us for some more fun. Every summer our town puts on Movies in the Park. We packed up popcorn, drinks and Grandma's chocolate chip cookies and went to see a movie under the stars!! It was so much fun and perfect weather for it. Wish they did more of them...until next year! On to Discovery Kingdom formerly Marine World for all you locals. The park is a really great place for families and has something for everyone. We saw lots of animal shows-Shouka the whale along with her friend Merlin the dolphin, the sea lion show and the tiger show. Enzo loved them all but I think he really liked the sea lions the best. Although he still talks about Shouka going for a time out since she didn't listen to her trainer! I think all the kids in the audience enjoyed that!! There is also a Thomas Town in the park that has everything Thomas. That was hard to get him out of the store!! We rode Thomas the Train, Harold the Helicopter and Bertie the Bus. He also tried another kiddie coaster this time with me and the result was the same...hated it! He rode a lot of other rides as well. Us big kids rode a big coaster too!! Francesco also tried his luck at the ring bottle toss and WON a HUGE stuffed monkey for Enzo. On the ride home he insisted that it ride next to him and fell asleep holding the monkey's hand...so cute!! All in all we had a really great day-ate yummy ice cream, had perfect weather, no tantrums and really enjoyed being together!!

We have been so busy this month that I have run out of time to post separately on all the events. We had a quick visit with Kimmy and Gabriel! They were able to fly up here and we all went to Grandma and Papa's for the weekend. Enzo is so good with Gabriel...he was giving him lots of kisses and kept saying how much he loved Baby Gabriel!! Sooo cute it just melted my heart!! Also Enzo was invited to 7 birthday parties this month!! We had to decline 2 due to previous plans but by the end of the month he will have gone to 5!! He has such a great time at all the parties and we love to see him interact with all his friends!! We also had Francesco's company Luau to attend which was really fun!!
