ENZO'S FIRST DAY OF PRESCHOOL!!

All smiles on the first day!!

Today Enzo went to his first day of preschool!! First a big boy haircut, now school, Mommy is having a rough time!! Our little man is growing up so fast right before our very eyes!! He really enjoyed his day! The school is a co-op so parents assist the teacher and the students in all the daily activities. He painted a picture, sang and danced and played at stations set up with different activities. Then they had lunch. Unfortunately Enzo's dinosaur lunch box had not arrived in time for his first day. I showed him a couple of options online and he picked out the one he wanted! All week long I have been questioned about its whereabouts!! And was about to once more in the presence of others!! He was asked to go get his lunch box(that's the kids' only job...to get it and put it back!!) and he got upset because his dinosaur lunch box was not there so I had to explain once again that it would be coming in the mail!! The answer sufficed him again... thank goodness! Lesson learned-at this age don't give choices and don't show them something that they can't have immediately! So we pray for the lunch box arrival to happen very soon! After lunch they went and did some indoor play since it was raining. There were big puffy mats in all shapes for them to climb on and a ton of other toys. Looks like our home-a miniature version of Toys r Us!! The day ended more quietly with story time. When the teacher was all done several kids went up to her and gave her a big hug. Enzo saw that and went right up to her and gave her a big one of his own!! She was very impressed and said most kids take a few more classes to feel that comfortable. Enzo is just a really affectionate person and loves to give hugs or as he calls them snuggles!! He also has been going to daycare since he was 2 1/2 months so he is very socialized!! He'll be going every Monday and Wednesday for a couple of hours each day. I know he really had a great time and will love to keep going! I will give updates and show his latest works of art!!
