This month would bring Francesco's 30th Birthday!! We planned a party at our friend's bar which happens to be one of our favorite places- Dragon Bar! It was a really fun gathering of family and friends. My sister Kim and her husband Juan joined us as well as my parents. We ate, drank(maybe too much for some of us! may he remain nameless!!) and had a great time with everyone.
The end of the month brought us Halloween! Enzo and I, along with another friend of mine named Jen and her children Sydnie and Gabe, went over to Half Moon Bay to a pumpkin patch for a picnic and to choose our pumpkins. The kids had a really great time running around the pumpkins, riding a train, bouncing in a bounce house, and choosing pumpkins. It was a really fun day resulting in exhausted kids and mommies! We brought home three pumpkins for carving. Enzo even helped by scooping out most of his tiny pumpkin! The three of us also went to "Boo at the Zoo" held at the San Francisco Zoo. The day was filled with fun-trick or treat stations, riding a train and watching the animals eat their treats! Enzo loved watching the tigers(Mommy and her triplets!) pounce on their pumpkins to get the goodies inside. We went over to Jen's house on Halloween night and joined her family for a fun filled evening. Enzo was dressed as Super Sleuth Tigger. He was sooo cute and loved being dressed up. This was the first time he went door to door trick or treating as he was too young last year. Enzo got the hang of it right after the first house with Sydnie showing how it is done! He loved getting all the candy and discovered his love for tootsie rolls. They all had a great time!
