Pooh Cake

Another busy month for us! The beginning brought us a visit from Enzo's Nonna and Zia Caca`. They came for a whole week and were here to attend Enzo's 2nd Birthday Party! We had a party at a place called Junior Gym. He invited all his friends and daycare buddies to join in the fun! They all had a blast jumping, running, dancing and playing on all the equipment. Enzo's favorite part though was his cake-he named it "pooh cake" since it had a Winnie the Pooh theme. He now asks for "pooh cake" for dessert all the time! Shouldn't every cake be a pooh cake?! He thinks so! We opened presents at home and he loved all that he was given but the cars from "Cars",train and soccer ball were a huge hit! We finished the day by having dinner at our place with my parents, Nonna and Zia. And of course more "pooh cake"! The rest of the week went by much too quickly but we had a really great time. We met Francesco at his work on Enzo's true birthday and went to lunch. We all had a great lunch and Enzo finished off with more cake-plain ol' chocolate this time! And the next day they went home. Wish it was for longer.

All three of us traveled down to L.A. for Thanksgiving. We had a very long drive due to bad weather and TRAFFIC! A 4 1/2 hour trip turned into a 9 1/4 hour trip. Enzo was a trooper for his second road trip. We highly recommend a portable DVD player to anyone attempting a road trip with a little one! It got us through what would have been a nightmare! It was worth every penny spent and then some. We arrived safely and got some much needed sleep. Juan's parents had invited all of us(my parents too)to their home for the holiday. We had a really great time and had tons of yummy food. We were very thankful for all of us being together enjoying our time with eachother.
