What's New In Enzo and Marco's World: April 2008

Another busy month! We celebrated Easter with my parents at their house. Enzo had his first egg hunt in my childhood home where I had done the same! So cool! He caught on rather quickly and was very happy to find little treasures and candy inside the eggs! He really loved his chocolate bunny but was not so fond of the peeps! He flung them off his fingers in disgust! (I would include more pictures but we took more video and it is too long to upload!) The day was a lot of fun and we finished with a great dinner.

Francesco and I decided that September was too long for Enzo to go without seeing his Nonna and Nonno so Enzo and I packed our bags and headed east to Maryland to surprise Nonna! (Nonno was in on it!) We arrived early in the morning and with the help of Jenn we got to the house after she left for work! We then got ready and went to her work. SURPRISE!!! That was so much fun!! She had a constant smile on her face for our entire trip! We explored several parks in the area and went to the zoo too! We just hung out around the house as well and Enzo had a great time emptying cupboards and drawing pictures! Francesco also had a surprise of his own...he showed up at his Mom's 60th Birthday dinner! That just added to the constant smile!! He was only there for the weekend but it made her very happy to have all of us there together. He also had another reason to be there as well...one of his best friends,Ryvy and his wife Nadia, had asked him to be their son Rocco's Godfather! He was very honored and excited to accept the role. Another great day of celebrating with family and friends. All in all it was a wonderful trip!!
