Decorating the tree!
Grandma, Enzo, Auntie Kimmy and Savannah Sue!!
Indeed it was. This year Enzo was able to help decorate the tree. He had a great time putting ornaments on the tree and then taking them off!! Finally we ended up with a tiny section decorated all by him. (pictured above!) The tree looked wonderful! All a glow with multicolored lights and ornaments from all the places my parents have traveled and all the sentimental ones too! Christmas morning was very special to us as it will be the last spent at our childhood home. (My parents will be heading east to Florida.) My Mom, Dad, Kimmy, Juan, Francesco and I were all excited to see Enzo's reaction to all the presents under the tree!! This was the first Christmas that he understood and by now he is an excellent gift opener!! His eyes lit up when he saw the huge assortment of toys Santa had left him! He apparently was a very good boy!! He had so much in fact we had to do two phases of opening which was broken up by a delicious breakfast. It will definitely be a fond memory of our last Christmas there being such a wonderful one for our son!!
We hope the new year brings everyone much joy, peace and fulfillment!! We have much to look forward to in our family and cannot wait to see what will be in store for us in 2009!!
